OUR PUPPIES

  • WHY SKYEBROOKS LAGOTTOS

When you choose a puppy from SkyeBrooks Lagottos, you’re choosing peace of mind. Our puppies are raised in a loving, enrichment-filled home environment, with a strong focus on health, temperament, and early development. As ethical breeders, our highest priority is the lifelong well-being of every dog we bring into the world—and we are committed to ensuring that none of our puppies ever end up in a shelter.

Bringing home a SkyeBrooks Lagotto means becoming part of our extended family. We are here to offer ongoing support, guidance, and care throughout your dog’s life.

Should you ever find yourself unable to care for your Lagotto—at any age—we ask that you reach out to us. We will always welcome them back!

Our puppies are raised using the BAB (Badass Breeder) curriculum, a proven program designed to promote resilience, confidence, and strong social skills. Beginning at just three days old, our puppies receive Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI) to help lay the foundation for well-adjusted, responsive adult dogs.

At around 7–8 weeks of age, we perform detailed puppy evaluations to help identify each pup’s temperament and unique personality. These evaluations are recorded, and both the video and a written summary are shared with everyone on our reservation list, helping families find the puppy that best fits their lifestyle.

  • HOW IT WORKS

If you're interested in welcoming one of our puppies into your home, the first step is to join our reservation list. Simply click the “I’m Interested!” button at the top of the page and complete our Puppy Interest Form.

To secure your place on the list, a $500 non-refundable reservation fee is required. This fee goes toward the total cost of your puppy and guarantees your spot in line for current or upcoming litters.

For the health and safety of our puppies, we do not offer in-person meet and greets until after evaluations are completed and the puppies are over 8 weeks old. Only families who have placed a deposit will be invited to meet the puppies in person prior to their official pick-up day. In the meantime, we are happy to connect via video calls, provide frequent photo and video updates, and even arrange a virtual tour so you can see where and how your puppy is being raised—right here in our home.

Puppies are particularly vulnerable to certain illnesses before they’ve completed their full round of vaccinations. Rest assured, your puppy will receive multiple rounds of deworming, their first set of vaccinations, and a full health clearance from a licensed veterinarian before going home with you.

  • GOING HOME

Each SkyeBrooks Lagotto puppy goes to their new home with:

    Microchipping for permanent identification

A comprehensive veterinary check, along with deworming and initial vaccinations (health certificate included)

A 2-year health guarantee against long-term, hereditary genetic conditions

    AKC Limited Registration

A thoughtfully prepared go-home bag, which includes a blanket scented like mom and littermates, a copy of The BAB Empowered Puppy guidebook, a snuggle puppy, and other essentials to help ease your puppy’s transition

The first 16 weeks of your puppy’s life are critical for their emotional and behavioral development. That’s why we dedicate so much time and care during the first 8 -10 weeks to create a confident, well-rounded, and empowered puppy. Once your puppy joins your home, the next 8 weeks are your opportunity to continue this important foundation. Together, we can make these early weeks count—and set your puppy up for a lifetime of success.

  • CHOOSING YOUR PUPPY

At SkyeBrooks Lagottos, our placement process prioritizes puppy temperament and family lifestyle to ensure the best possible match. While we do take preferences for gender and color into account, our primary goal is to help each puppy thrive in a home that suits their individual personality and energy level.

After receiving the puppy evaluation videos, we kindly ask that you select 2–3 puppies you are most interested in meeting. Puppy selection will take place the weekend after the puppies turn 10 weeks old (exact date to be confirmed). On pick-up day, each family will be given a 30–45 minute private appointment to meet the puppies and make their final choice.

Selections will be made in the order deposits were received.
